AlTion has recently launched the latest version of TNAS, which is version 5.1. AlTion puts innovation to the forefront at all times. We listen to our customer's opinions and value all feedback. As a result, TNAS 5.1 includes many new features, which provide the following functionalities:
Graphical Network Representation This functionality allows Network drawings to be captured and maintained in TNAS. These drawings will be active and the User will be able to drill down in to Locations, Nodes and Equipment. Graphical Equipment Representation This functionality will allow the graphical representation of equipment. This will allow the Users to see Equipment presented in TNAS as the Equipment really is. The Users will be able to click on the Equipment and see the Equipment's ports and to click on the ports and see what Trails are on the ports. This is similar to the current graphics in Element Managers. Full Network Inventory Management This functionality will allow all network equipment or inventory to be managed through TNAS. It allows the process of managing inventory, from ordering through deployment to decommissioning, to be managed in TNAS. It removes the need for manual processes and spreadsheets associated with tracking and ordering network inventory. It provides Network Design and Engineering with functions to track equipment from stores, through deployment to decommissioning when planning, designing, deploying and maintaining Networks. Inventory Attribute Management This functionality will provide for Inventory associated attributes such as cost, bar codes etc. to be stored in TNAS. Rules Functionality This functionality allows planning rules to be configured to govern what cards can be put into what slots in what equipment. Project Work Order Functionality Allows all the work associated with a Project to be printed out on a single Work Order. This will enable the User to issue an entire job in one action on TNAS. Status Management This functionality will allow control of the Network entities which Users can use. It will allow for the prohibition of the use of planned Network for the provision of Circuits or Network. Power and Environmental Functionality This functionality will allow power and environmental information to be modelled and administered in TNAS. The power requirements of the Network Equipment will be recorded in TNAS as will the output capacity of supply rectifiers. This will allow Users to plan and manage power requirements at sites using TNAS. Reservation Functionality The reservation functionality will be enhanced to allow reservation of Inventory, Equipment and Capacity including timeslots and ports on an individual basis. This functionality will allow Sales and Planning functions to reserve capacity that they require in the future.
